In Argentina, 25.6% of all deaths are due to cardiovascular diseases (2021). Hypertension affects 47.5% of adults aged 30–79 (95% CI: 41.6–53.3; 2019), and only 14.8% of people with hypertension have it under control (2019). Diabetes affects 10.6% of adults (95% CI: 6.9–15.1; 2022). The probability of dying between ages 30 and 70 from a noncommunicable disease is 13.4% (2021).
