Hypertension affects 42.4% of adults aged 30–79 (95% CI: 35.2–49.9; 2019), and only 29.0% of people with hypertension have it under control (2019). Diabetes affects 14.2% of adults (95% CI: 7.9–22.1; 2022). The probability of dying between ages 30 and 70 from a noncommunicable disease is 17.4% (2021).
