In Haiti, 30.4% of all deaths are due to cardiovascular diseases (2019). Hypertension affects 42.9% of adults aged 30–79 (95% CI: 36.6–49.4; 2019), and only 8.1% of people with hypertension have it under control (2019). Diabetes affects 23.7% of adults (95% CI: 14.8–33.9; 2022). The probability of dying between ages 30 and 70 from a noncommunicable disease is 31.6% (2021).
