In Honduras, 27.7% of all deaths are due to cardiovascular diseases (2019). Hypertension affects 33.9% of adults aged 30–79 (95% CI: 24.7–43.8; 2019), and only 32.6% of people with hypertension have it under control (2019). Diabetes affects 13.3% of adults (95% CI: 5.9–23.5; 2022). The probability of dying between ages 30 and 70 from a noncommunicable disease is 17.8% (2021).
