In Mexico, 19.3% of all deaths are due to cardiovascular diseases (2021). Hypertension affects 32.1% of adults aged 30–79 (95% CI: 27.8–36.4; 2019), and only 27.7% of people with hypertension have it under control (2019). Diabetes affects 14.3% of adults (95% CI: 12.4–16.4; 2022). The probability of dying between ages 30 and 70 from a noncommunicable disease is 16.3% (2021).
