In Colombia, 26.1% of all deaths are due to cardiovascular diseases (2021). Hypertension affects 31.0% of adults aged 30–79 (95% CI: 24.4–38.3; 2019), and only 33.0% of people with hypertension have it under control (2019). Diabetes affects 12.3% of adults (95% CI: 7.5–18.3; 2022). The probability of dying between ages 30 and 70 from a noncommunicable disease is 10.3% (2021).
