Hypertension affects 49.1% of adults aged 30–79 (95% CI: 39.8–58.7; 2019), and only 21.6% of people with hypertension have it under control (2019). Diabetes affects 17.5% of adults (95% CI: 9.8–27.6; 2022). The probability of dying between ages 30 and 70 from a noncommunicable disease is 17.4% (2021).
